Following the success of my first VIP Memphis trip of 2007, I'm proud to have hosted four more since then in 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016. During each trip it has become apparent that they are holidays filled with music, fun and laughter, as well as emotion and insight. VIP Memphis tells the story of a group of relative strangers, who started out full of excitement and apprehension, returning  as good friends with a greater understanding of Elvis Presley, the man, the myth, the legend and of his home town, that is Memphis, Tennessee. We've visited Elvis' birth town of Tupelo, combining visits to many historic landmarks and sites of the Elvis world including Sun Studios, Humes High School, The Rock and Soul Museum and The Civil Rights Museum to name a few. We've also enjoyed Jazz Riverboat cruises, Elvis karaoke nights on Beale Street and stays in Las Vegas, Miami, New Orleans and Nashville within our trips, too.

We have been privileged to meet some of Elvis' friends and family along the way, these include:  George Klein - Elvis’ life-long friend and member of the Memphis Mafia, Sonny West - Elvis’ close friend and security official of 16½ years, Bernard Lansky - Elvis' personal tailor, Master Kang Rhee - Elvis' Karate instructor, Marty Lacker - Elvis' bookkeeper, Louise Smith was married to Elvis' cousin Gene and also Guy Harris, Shirley Connell and Sandi-Pichon Haynes have all shared with us their treasured childhood and teenage memories of times with Elvis.
